Looking pretty sweet!, what are you using to build it?

How is the person going to sit on the bike? Right now if they just sit down it looks like the top of the seat will cause their head to have to bend forward.

Keep posting!

Looking good! :D

Aside from the issues with the seat, the design is very cool . . .

It might be cool if you angled that piece that comes across the wheel in a bit . . . just a personal preference . . . I like angles on speedy things . . .

Keep up the great work . . . :wip:

Thanks for the replys people:

I'm using 3dsmax 4.2. that's pretty much it. started out from a cube...smoothed it out, extruded...

Well, i had in mind that the person WILL actually have to bend his head, cause there are going to be monitors there where he sees were to "drive/fly" But i'll keep in mind about the bend head problem :applause:

created from a cube? Wow. Thats a LOT of extruding... What else was behind the creation of it? I love having the light comming from inside the dash. cool effect.

Yupp, but i got enlightened the other day, and found a way to model really quick and how to start out from a simple box. :lightbulb

Any comments how to texture it?

personally i think it would look better without the wires, or add more wires and band them together like cables.

yupp! so what? i clicked on a link here at cgchannel.com (i think it was yesterday by the way) and there was this interview with steven.

I saw this little thumbnail image of this bike, and i started making an own bike. I didn't see his bike in big format until now though...

Well, THANK yoouu steven for letting my brain take a bite of your design :)

thanks swirly :)

any ideas of texturing...? rusty looking or clean metal/polished/silver/ looking? I think it looks to brand new to be rusty, and besides, almost the whole thin is made out of coalfibre (correct?)

Izu

well if u´r going for rusty metall..why not make some dents n stuff in the bodywork...that wold be coo... and why not add some decals to it..

torbjorn
03-20-2003, 03:05 PM
ok, no metal i think, but the idea with the decal is absolutely COOL...that's it. i'm gonna go for decals and an overall "brand-new-sportmodel-never-raced-a-race-so-far-look"

Thanks Swirly /T.
