Hello everyone,

I've written a tutorial on the basics of 3D rendering & shading theory. The tutorial consists of an introduction to vectors, and how they relate to rendering. Also included is a video of how to use the knowledge discussed in the tutorial to implement a phong shader inside XSI's own render tree by using basic math nodes.

some simple examples of what can be achieved by playing with nodes:

I hope this tutorial will be useful for the community.
