Hello All,

I just wanted to take a minute here and share with you a character that I have been making. It is only my second character and I am really happy with how it is looking now. If you saw my first one, you wouldnt even know it was done by the same person, it was horibble!

I am pretty happy with the modeling and am now going to set him up for animation. He is for a class I am taking at my Community College.

I was also wondering if anyone could give me advice on ik or fk. I am comfortable using ik for the lower body (legs) but when it comes to the upper half, ie arms, it is a real bear for me. Would you recommned using ik or fk for the upper body??

Well, C@C are welcome,

Thanks

This character looks really good, esp for a second try. I am currently working on my first. I think the eyes may stick out a little too far, but otherwise it looks awesome.

Personally, I like IK for my arm animation, occasionally FK is better (gives more freedom and more localized control), IK is always easier.
