View Full Version : Scene: Japanese Temple
bledsoed 03-19-2003, 06:32 AM Hey all,
This is the temple in which my animation will take place. my main character will sneek up from the left of the image to the enterance while hidding in the shadows. then attack and kill the japanese guard.
what do you all think of the scene? i am using max 5.1 & photoshop. rendertime for 640x480 is 1:15.
and ideas on what i could change or do differently.
thanks

Cool!
It's pretty simple, but I guess since it's so dark and you've got that blurry render effect going on it hides everything...

I'm afraid I have to agree with Gfx-san here.
Overall, the image is too dark. I can barely see anything there, except the perfect background with that beautiful moon
The building itself is out of focus, maybe you should tune down the depth of field effect a bit more.
But, I do think the temple itself is already good. Maybe you should arrange the lighting a bit, to show off the building more :)
Well, I'm waiting for your next update. Keep up the good work!
