This is a 3d tank element that will be the player model in an upcoming 2D side-scroller game (hopefully in the vein of Metal Slug).

The game will be called Steel Thunder, and the player will control this tank against other enemy tanks and planes. This is NOT a professional game. There are 2 people working on it: myself on Graphics and Layout, and my friend Davin on the programming end.

Steel Thunder will be a 2D side-scroller, but with 3d pre-rendered sprites. The sprites will be created, as this one has, with Maya 4.5 and Mental Ray 1.5.

The game is being developed for a contest at U.Colorado.

Hey man. Neat tank. I think that would look cool in a game. But what about the camo covering everything? Maybe the tracks would look cool black, and the wheels not camo...Don't know. Just a thought.

I think a tad bit more detail in the tread areas would help this out a lot. Otherwise looks great.
