Hi .. please check out this lip sync animation for critique. This is actually my first attempt. And I want to get good at this thing asap, because I have dropped out of my business school, and I have to build up my CG career as quickly as i can.

Tip#1 there's tons of free rigs out there. Try using them for you character animation until you have created a solid rig yourself

Tip#2 there quite a few books out there that teach lip-syncing I would recommend Jason Osipa “Stop Staring”, this book is an awesome way to start off. It not only teaches you lip sync but how to create your own face rig.

Tip#3 I have no idea what your character is saying. Might help if you grabbed an audio clip were it was speaking English or just not so chip n dale like.

I understand you need to learn as quickly as possible but this stuff takes time. It's more art then anything and as all art is takes practice.

Keep it up.
