nice idea... the only thing that bothers me is the orange sofa... the curve should be the other way round. on your sofa if a second guest comes to the show the new guest always takes the nearest place to the host. but then the first guest wouldn't have no longer eye contact to the host. you know what I mean?

I agree with this, if they had a group of people on the show, the person on the end would be fully facing the audience.

Visually however, it's very good. I particularly like the "moon" lamps above the presenter's desk. Good work.

Great set Carlos. I like it a lot. Will it be a real set or a virtual set? Colours and lightning is great, it has some kind of american style of TV sets, with saturated colors and lots of contrast.

Shapes are great for this kind of sets, but I miss some more depth in the background, for example more "layers" of objets in different depths will increase the possibilities of the set when moving the camera.

Maybe the reason of the depth is that when I create virtual sets for TV I like a lot to show the posibilities of the 3D, specially talking about depth of the set.

It´s a great work Carlos, congrats and keep on.

Thanks everyone for comments and support :)

@Mikeldi: Hello! nice to find people that work on the same as I :) , thanks for comments, theyre very useful. Yes, the producers wanted some classical revision of the typical american Late Show, adapted to the Latinamerican public and to the style of Sony entertainment TV ( which is kind of Minimal and colorful ). In this case this is a real set ( Ill post some set photos when ill have it ) virtual sets are not so usual here in Venezuela, so most of the sets I design are for construction. But i would love to go that way since it mixes two of my passions: 3D and Set Design :)

cheers from Caracas, Venezuela,

Carlos

very nice. i agree with how the couch should curve the other way. also instead of the concrete walls maybe use a textured panel similar to the blue background thats behind the musical guest on conan o'brien. smaller blocks sticking out but similar pattern instead of the cast concrete.

also, how is the host in two places at once? j/k ;)
