View Full Version : SSS Fast Skin Material and mr Sky

I am currently making a character and the texture for the skin is a SSS Fast Skin Material. I was using two onmi lights to brighten the scene but decided to see what it would look like using mr Sun and mr Sky in a daylight system.

When I rendered the scene it ended up like the attached picture: with the skin texture turning pure grey

I tried playing around with some settings and I notice it only goes pure grey with the mr Sky selected in the daylight system. Using normal 'sky' or IES Sky made it look more normal (just a little dull)

Anyone got any ideas.

Turn off the "soft compositing" option on your skin material.

I had a feeling all it required was the ticking/unticking of a box.

Thanks so much for your help, everything works fine. :)
