ok... firstly..
i grew up on your games.. awesome work! especially Riven, some nice subtle environment animation going on..
I allways aspired to creating the same amount of detail in a scene as you guys do..

I got a couple of questions for ya..
The people you're looking for.. do they have to come from the US? or are you willing to import people from wherever... or as ddv said, that might be awkward because of 9|11 and getting Visa's.

and the other thing is.. i'm an Xsi user through an through [never learnt Max, not that i don't want to] so would you be willing to train people up, or is it a position that involves immediate mastery of Max?

cheers,

PS this is my history profile.. basically of what i've been doing up til now

Thank you for the kind words.

Quick answers:

The people you're looking for.. do they have to come from the US? or are you willing to import people from wherever...

Traditionally we've hired people from wherever, but with the current job openings we are really hoping to get people in here fast, and it'd be kind of tough to get an H1B Visa in the timeframe we're looking... especially these days.

...would you be willing to train people up, or is it a position that involves immediate mastery of Max?

We very much want people who already have a thorough understanding of Max. The main reason being that our proprietary 3D engine is built right on top of 3DSMax.... So any previous Max experience will directly apply to our pipeline. In addition, there is so much new information to learn about our realtime engine... to teach that in addition to basic (and advanced) Max stuff would just be unmanageable.

Thanks very much for your interest!
