Great with realistic human modeling and texturing??? Good with Low-Poly realtime graphics??? Are you a 3D studio Max wizard??? If so... we want to talk to you.

Job Description:

We are looking for an expert-level real-time 3D character modeling and texture artist who is ready to establish a new state of the art in game characters. Responsibilities will include modeling and texturing of clothing, faces, hands, bodies, and morph targets of all of the above for real-time customization within our proprietary game engine. Character polygon counts will range from 5000 and down. This involves extensive use of 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. This is a late-stage-development project and the candidate must be experienced and ready to contribute..

Responsibilities:

- Detailed, realistic character modeling
- Animation rigging and setup
- Vertex weighting
-Optimizing the production pipeline for multiple levels of detail
- Modeling of clothing and accessories
- Tagging/triggering using our tools built into 3D Studio Max.
- Staying abreast of updates and changes to our scene creation tools.
- Maintaining flexibility and a positive attitude while working on a wide variety of tasks.

Qualifications:

- Solid anatomic drawing and modeling skills
- High-end 3D character modeling
- Solid understanding of real-time character animation setup; creasing, folding, shoulder deformation, etc.
- Good understanding of the state of the art in real time characters
- 4-year degree in visual arts or equivalent experience.
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating exceptional use of 3D modeling, texturing and composition.
- Expert level experience with 3D Studio Max.
- Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills are a must
- Ability to work with minimal direction, learn on your own, and take initiative.

The exceptional candidate will have:

- At least one shipped real-time 3D title.
- Animation experience.

All positions are full-time captive, salaried, with health insurance and benefits, and require relocating to Spokane, WA.

Cyan Worlds is located on the outskirts of Spokane, Washington, a city of roughly half a million. It's less than two hours drive from a dozen ski slopes and lake resorts; a 45 minute flight to Seattle; a day's drive to Yellowstone, Glacier, and Banff Springs National parks; a half a day flight to Hawaii; and a world away from the rat race.

No we don't have any full-time animation positions, at this point in time.
