A quick sketch trying to depict a swamp environment, decided it had no real point so I had a go at putting in a fantasy creature of some kind in the scene.

The 'thing' was largely drawn randomly but used features from gorillas and bears. He's just a fairly simplistic ball of fuzz though. I focussed on making it look less 'monsterish' but rather like a normal animal in it's natural environment

Spent approximately 5 to 6 hours in Photoshop with a Wacom,

Nice work Sanjeev..Colors are nice..I really liked the mood of that painting..If its a quick sketch then its really well drawn..Take carez..All the best..Cheers:)

Is the tile based on the old movie The Swamp Thing? Love the colors and mood of this, I can't really seem to define the creature... is it's head underwater? I can define it's hands and arms , but the rest I can't really tell what it is besided furry :)

Ivy, to be honest I didn't think too much about the creatures form apart from a few defined features..

his head is meant to be down, i.e. scooping water into his mouth, and I deliberately didn't show it.

And no, no connection to "swamp thing" :)
