Howdy again, folks. Here are my sys specs:

1.4 GHZ AMD Athlon
Win XP Professional
600+ MB RAM
ATI Radeon 7500 w/ latest drivers

I noticed that when I get a certain distance away from objects in my viewports, they tend to disappear and I have to get in very close to them to see them again. It usually happens when I'm viewing them in wireframe mode. Is this normal? So far, it hasn't stopped me from working on my project, but I'm wondering if this is something I should be concerned about?

Any info/advice is welcome!

look up clipping planes, w regards to cameras. find these attributes on your camera shape node..

checked your clipping planes ?

in the viewport, choose View > Select Camera ...

then under the Attribute Editor select the camera's shape node and notice the NEAR and FAR clipping planes ... crank the far clipping plane up to something really high and that should fix your problem.

Only a small warning, trim that clipping plane back at render time or it will slow down your render. Everything within that clipping plane is calculated at render time ...

Hope that helps!
