Hello,
I wonder jow can I vreate fabric folds in Photoshop. Looking at a reference image and sipmply redrawing them or using a real folded fabric as texture are just some of the ways. I tried creating a layer with bevel and embos and outer glow and turned the fill to 0%. This I could draw lines with a simple brush which looked something like folds but weren't very realistic. I tryed to use a disort filter but it didm' work again. So my question is: Is there an easy and efficiant way to vreate folds?
Thank you!:)

There is no easy button that I know of, yous build it like anything else that you paint.
If the fabric that you are painting the folds for has a pattern then you can paint the folds in a different layer and use the blending modes. You can even save the folds layer as a separate file to be used with the Displacement filter in order to deform your pattern according to the shape of the folds.

Hope that helps.
