Nice . You would definitely notice advantages to using HDR images as refmaps in scenes that require highly reflective surfaces like cars and such. Here's my attempt. http://www.finalgathering.com/main/main.html

Really love your HP. HDRI is great...don't have to think that much over reflection maps and light setup...takes long to render, but you save time optimzing your scene...I'm modeling a Lamborghini Murcielago at the moment...will try that same with that scene...so updates will follow....someday
