View Full Version : Bones + IK Spline gives me rotating bones..

I am working on some kind of snake which is running along a path. I am discovering a problem that i cannot solve..

I have 8 bones skinned inside a mesh, i added a IK Solver on the bones.. The movement of the snake is perfect only there is one problem, sometimes during its travel it suddenly turns upside down. en a few steps further it turns back right up.

I dont know what the problem is, does anyone has any suggestions ?

give the IK a look at constraint.

I am sprry but that does not solve the problem.
I am rebuilding the scene right now in the hope that
it will work.. bones are just strange :P

I guess the turning upside down is an extremely banking.
Is there a way to let the IK Spline stop banking the snake.

The option banking in the path constraint is turned off..
