Starting to look good, the colour range and composition does it for me.
At art college when we did prosthetic make up we all did the typical zombie robot appliances, our tutor however made us do subtle appliances for our portfolios. This made us balance the garish fantasy with the subtle touchups, the most succesful guy in our class was snapped up immediately because he sculpted a realistic baby hand, and also a elderly persons hand. He left just a few of the outlandish sculpts in his portfolio. I think the lesson I learnt was that effects houses have seen apocalypse and destruction done to death but are more interested in reality.
What I would like to part to you is that show them your very best fine pieces and when they go how many photos did you take to do this? and then you tell them it is all paint they will be impressed. leave the science fiction and fantasy to the last few images.
I think you will make it
good luck you deserve it,
Rich:)

hi Riktor,.the composition feels a bit weighted to the right side, you could maybe shift the bottom section over to the left to add some balance?...good luck at the job fair!

Thanks for the advice, Ill try to balance it abit. I tried to balance it with the cloud but your right it may be a little right heavy. I might condense the left side to conform to an 1080p aspect but I will play a bit before I decided to much on the foreground.

Composite Test (http://www.blurred-pixels.com/mp_images/matte_test.mov)
Plz view the composite at half size in Quicktime since thats the rough size of the final reel rez. Keep in mind also that was just a rough mask out that the final will be projected on cards or 3d in maya and composited a little differently

Update, I have to relight the foreground image because of my limited resources. So I am hand painting the relight which is tedious, hopefully I will done with the matte and composite this weekend, because this is the first of a number of shots I need to complete before August.
