Hi everyone,
i'd like to post here a work in progress, it's my current personal project and will hopefully be finished in july. It is a 2 minute movie that i started a couple of months ago and to which i dedicate almost every bit of my free time :)
the current state of this movie is somewhere after pass 2 of animation and rendering, there are still many animations to tweak and environments to improve, i just wanted to build a first version in full render and compositing, and i feel that overall it starts to look promising.

The 5,3 MB wmv movie is here:

Please have a look and let me know what you feel about it. Critics will be most welcome as well as any kind of feedback.
Thanks a lot for your time!

i also got some shots here, for everyone interrested.

hey its lookin' good and very promising! lots of work here. im doing my short too and i just animated and rendered the first 20 seconds, so i know how you feel hehe..you can check it out here link (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=153&t=506384)

well, i havent noticed something i didnt like here, just one character slides across the screen as it walks (when the main character exits his home) and some shadow flickerings while he picks his things from the floor..i especially like how the fur got rendered in the ticket closeup..and his house is very cute : )) btw, what fur are you using? so far, so good, cheers!

hey, mate, thanks a lot for the comments!

the fur is done with ornatrix. hopefully i will be able to correct some flickering that shows up in the fur renderings. as for the shadows, it could be something from the compression, the higher resolution version doesnt show them...
there are more slides in a few shots:) i haven't managed to fix the anims just yet. i will, though.
here's a higher resolution movie i just uploaded today, but no new cuts added just yet:

Once again, thanks a lot for the comments and will definitely keep an eye on your movie :) i really like the character :)
Cheers!

;) it looks good in the higher res, especially the fur! but there is shadow flickering, just before he tears up his teddy : )) its no biggie, maybe just the shadow res or samples got wild. subtle dof effect is much more visible here in higher res, looks great, cheers!
