View Full Version : If you have bought and received any CS3 application...
Sha_Man 06-12-2007, 06:19 AM I need help from any user who have bought and received any Adobe CS3 application (but preferably Photoshop or Illustrator). If that's your case please reply to this thread and I'll contact you via PM.
To make a long story short I have bought Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 from ebay but I have a doubt if they are legal versions.

What makes you think that software that you purchased on eBay IS legal? And why would you buy it on eBay in the first place?
You're not going to get a deal on this kind of Software.

Why not?
And why would you buy it on eBay in the first place?
Because of the price.

When i bought CS2 Design Suite, Megamart in Australia was selling for $2500 AUD, but i got mine from an adobe dealer, that sells them as warehouse stock, so got it for $1400 AUD ;)
Dont always believe a retailer.
You're not going to get a deal on this kind of Software.
On the contrary- If you are a student then there are plenty of discounts just shop around and not be so quick to buy the first thing you find. Resellers-schoolastic-JourneyEd and others.
I saved major $$$ on several CG programs CS2, Maya, etc using this and this is where my school shops- 100% LEGIT and recommended by Autodesk and Adobe etc if you're a student trying to gain education/experience!
And I agree :::
And why would you buy it on eBay in the first place?
Ebay is SCAM Artist's dream come TRUE!

Problem solved! I called an Adobe representative and they helped me to identify the softwares. My Photoshop (Standard Edition) and Illustrator are both fully legit. I bought Photoshop for 160 euros and Illustrator for 120 euros. I'm happy ;)

Adobe sells both Photoshop CS3 (the standard version) and Illustrator CS3 (upgrades) for a total of almost 600 Euro (just checked) and you get it for 280 Euro?

Yes, that why I bought on eBay. There's great deals.
Right now you can find Photoshop CS3 Extended OEM version for less than 200 euros or the boxed version for $340.
I've made literally hundreds of purchases on ebay, software, hardware, clothes, books, all sorts of stuff. I've also sold alot on there too.
And never have I had a problem outside of late deliveries.
But I have heard many people claim that ebay is a haven for scams. Coincidentally, the people who say it are afraid to buy from there because of the so called scam factor.
Go figure...
