Anybody knows a plugin which can apply vertex color according to the lights you places in the scene?

I am intended to add some cheap vertex color effect quickly, thanks.

This might be silly statement, so I appologise in advance, but doesn't vertext paint do that??

Utiltiies/Assign Vertex Colors....???
