View Full Version : camera_odd squashed output - What?!?

Something has gone funky only when I batch render (haven't tried command line), the images are rendered at squashed resolutions like 1280x360. When I do a normal single frame render inside Maya, it renders properly. What is also odd is the ouput path in the render settings is F:/project/maya/images but maya is creating a "camera_odd" or "persp_odd" folder for these batch renders.

My Render Settings is set to the HD 720 Preset (1280x720 pixels, 72dpi, pixels/inch, device aspect ratio 1.777, pixel aspect ration 1.000)

I thought maybe something in my camera settings got messed up, so I created a new camera with default settings and attached the old camera's animation curves, but the problem persists.

When I open the rendered image in fcheck, it says it is 1280x360 and the scaling is 1:1.

So.. I don't know what I broke.. help? :shrug:

Since 360 is half of 720 I'm guessing that you are rendering fields instead of frames. And the folder name confirms this since "odd" refers to one of the fields. You can change it back to frames in the render-settings window.
