I think that the colors are very saturated. The model is good, but the materials too bright. A darker environment could improve the scene.
Please... don't hurt me :scream: :wip:

Thanks for saying something. I will give a darker version a whirl. See how it looks. :wavey:

here is a quick test of a darker, less saturated version. As for shiny. I would have to rerender it for that one...that will take a little bit longer. I guess it is that I am jaded. I have been looking at this thing for almost a month now. Its hard to see problems after so long I guess. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Heya:
Nice pic! A few comments:
* The textures all seem to have the same scale or a sense of similar patterns. For example, the dragon's hide blends a tad too well with the cavern walls. The man's neck blends with the cavern to the point where I thought he had a hugely thick neck until I noticed that it was a column behind him.
* The saturation is high, as pointed out. Even in the new version there are color casts which are hard to understand: is that the guy's skin color? Or were you shooting for the "dark cave" look?
* Everything is shiny: makes the cave appear wet, which is good, but the guy and the dragon also have that "wet & shiny" look, so things kind of blur together.
Good models, just need some texture work IMO!

Thank you!!
This is exactly what I needed.
I will get to some revisions shortly. Guess I will be moving this thing to the wip forum. *sigh*
Thanks though! I really appreciate the feedback!

I think that adding shadows to your lights with help this image drastically. Also, I would suggest deeper blue lighting (cold) for the background, and yellow-orange lighting (warm) for the character in front - perhaps from a torch. This will help seperate him and give focus to your image.
Nice modeling, by the way!

*passes out at the sight of meats*
lol
Thank you on the modeling! *INSERT BIGA$$ SMILE* I actually had the lighting set up like that but changed it due to the dragon being warm. I think that is a another problem (wife pointed it out). Dragon is coming too forward cuz of his warm texture. Have to take care of that.
I am going back in to rework everything. One of the problems I am having is my HD believe it or not. It is taking times of biblical proportions to render a 3000X2000 image with proper shadow. Sucks ass but I am going to try.
Thanks again!!!!
