I was trying to render my scene from 1 to 4000 using software render, I set correctly the start to end, after several hours, it would say under script editor that Rendering is completed, but then I look at the maya folder under my documents and it only rendered from 1 to 2388. I can’t understand why I can’t render the whole animation. I even tried to divide into 2 shots, I tried starting from 1400 to 4000, checked the script editor and it said "Percentage of Rendering Done 0 " and it stayed like that forever, not rendering anything. I even tried rendering 30 fr per sec starting from 1400 to 2000. It can't seem to render unless I start right from the start. Have any of you guys experienced this? How did you fix the problem?

it may be looking at something at frame 2488 that is causing it to crash. Have you tried to render that frame in maya through the render view?

yes, it can render with the render view
