Hey there, welcome (hehe I can't believe I will be the first one to say this:))!

Your work looks good! Few flaws here and there but in general seems ok. I am sure you won't have problems with your exam, you are good! Did you study anatomy before, just curious?

best wishes, keep posting!

hey, welcome :)

nice model drawings, but I think you need to study portraits more, the gestures seems ok but there's an overall flatness on about the portraits.

in turkish:

merhaba,

model cizimlerinizi begendim, pozlar canlı ve dogal gozukuyor fakat portrelerde bir duzluk var gibi, sanki biraz daha boyut istiyor.

en begendigim calisma arkasina yaslanmis gobekli figur :)

Hey Buddy,

Youīve great drawings here. Personally I think one of the reasons for the "flatness" in some of your drawings is the lack of light and shade. Why donīt you try do play with tones a little more ? Give it a test in your next drawing...

In most of your drawings I can see a good use of intersecting lines, volume, folds in clothes (look the drawing of the belly man sitting in the coach)... that stuff isnīt easy to adquire, and you are doing well. I think with a touch of light you will suggest forms easilly with just lines. Butīs sure, linework still important...

Another point. Try to get a scanner quickly. Itīll very usefull because this shots are hiding a lot of the quality of your art. If you really can get one right now, you can try fix the shots in Photoshop (or any bitmap editor).

If you donīt mind I use two of your drawings to explain a quick way to do this. Use this methods to start and then search for advanced ways to fix the photos, ok ?!

Thatīs it. My 2 cents. Keep drawing.

firstof all thanks alot for crits. the ones which i didnt play with tones, they were quick draws. ill gonna send tomorrow a 90 minute work, mine best drawing ever. but i need to try that on these quick works too as you say.

and thanks alot for the tips!! :)

ill get a scanner as soon as i can. but the model works paper size is 35*50cm. i couldnt scan them i guess..

Wow, this was fast.

About the great paper size. Yes, you can scan. I donīt have Photoshop CS (I use 5.5), but In CS thereīs a option/tool to do this. Google it and probably Iīll find how to do.

Anyway. You always can scan small parts of the image and join in the single one. :- )

I believe Anadolu Uni. and Mimar Sinan Uni. uses 50*70 on their exams, you should also practice on that ;) I wish you the best of luck, you are doing a lot better than the most I believe.

Your portrait studies look promising, you will get a lot better by the time of the exams :) If you apply to Bahcesehir uni too while you are at it, let me know ;)

mimar sinan is just wants draw from imagination. eskisehir wants both of live model and imagine.
i know eskisehir doesnt use 50*70 but im not sure about mimar sinan. but ill investigate it. thanks alot for your inform. im not thinking about universities outside of ankara, bc of my work. its just privilege for mimar sinan , and eskisehir. if i won one of there i ll think to go:)

but if i ll apply to bahcesehir, im sure ill look for you:)

Hi Ali! Great start!.. :thumbsup:I have nothing to critique right now since I am not so great at drawing.... but as always, I recommend watching the Vilppu DVDs. That old man can change your drawing overnight!!
