excuse me because i only know the idea, i'm dumb in programming so perhaps it will help you,
i found in internet some files called "tweak...." like "tweak photoshop" and i said perhaps it can be made on c4d, the tip is simple:
a simple program (a standalone) which load only plugins that will be needed in working...so an animator will not need modelling plugins :D ....
the tip is that this program will only change the name of plugins, if the program is on windows it's clear that it will change *.CDL for exemple by adding a letter *.CDLL or mac *.XDL to *.XDLL and these changement will be done in "plugin" and "module" directories...
for doing this a list will be made according to this http://www.c4dplugs.com/search.php?showAll=true&PHPSESSID=3ea4c023f03126c58645314a7c92829a i think that all plugins are there, so a list will made to exclude what we will not need :thumbsup: for exemple, by selecting "animation" the program will serach for the list made by the programmer and will exclude "model" plugins....
and when he needs to re upload them the application will go to "plugin" and "module" directories to rename them -by deleting the L in the *.CDLL added in the exemple that i made-
excuse me if i can't made it, but perhaps this idea will help you and you'll make it manually because there is some artists who like using plugins and i think they use memory when loading cinema 4d, so perhaps when he loads only what he will need he will gain memory and space in his work....just an idea :rolleyes:
