View Full Version : Animation: Add for netto
Harvester 03-18-2003, 03:05 PM Well this was done for an animation class...using SI 3D ver. 3.9
We were to make a flying logo, most of the others made their initials jump and spin, so I'm pretty happy with this despite a few bugs. Only had two classes to make this so short on time, don't expect too much.
For those that don't know Netto, their logo is that puppy that's sitting down at the end. For the peopel not speaking danish: Priser = prices, the text at the end is 'we chop the high prices down to size' or something like that.

Hi Harvester! :wavey:
Okay, you had just two classes. This is a f***ing funny deadline for a logoanimation, but anyway, this one does not look convincing. There is just too much newbie-3D in this animation :hmm:
-you forgot textures
-you forgot to set a proper lighning
-you forgot a background
-you forgot some kind of interesting composition
-the animations are too linear
-the "i" is awful. Neither does it fit into the word, nor is it clear what it stands for
-the dog's movement is very strange.
-is the white boxy thing a basket?
-and so on...
Sorry for this harsh critique but I really don't know what positive things I could say... But don't you worry -better luck next time!
BTW who the f**k designed this stupid NETTO-logo? I mean: It's a supermarket. Not a store for dog food... I'm always near crying whenever I see a NETTO (we've got those in Germany, too ;) )
Greetings,
XerC

Hehe thanks for the brutal honesty...
Like I mentioned in the above post, buggy, maybe I should have said A LOT of bugs ;) This was for a basic modeling/animations class...and considering the time limit, and what the other people did I'm not too down...if I ever get time I might fix it up just for fun.
