Hi, I am starting to use blender at a Studio and I was wondering what some shortcuts are or how to do some of the following - I have been searching all over the net and I couldnt find out any answers on how! sorry if this is real easy and I missed it:)

1. How do I copy keyframes?
2. How do I select multiple joints/rig controls to move say both arms at the same time.
3. How do I get the box up where I can input cords and values and stuff, I saw it in a tutorial but he said nothing about how to get it up there.
4. Also is there anyway to select like 4 keys and move them down without disturbing the rest of the keys.
5. How do I pan? ( I hold middle mouse to rotate around, but I cant figure out how to pan)

Thank you for your time!

Sorry, I don't know the answers to 1, 2 and 4 either, but I can answer 3 and 5 for you.

3. Hit 'n' and it should bring up that dialog box inside whichever panel you are using at the time.
5. hold 'ctrl' and hit one of the arrow keys, and the 3D view will pan in that direction.

hold 'ctrl' and hit one of the arrow keys, and the 3D view will pan in that direction

this will make the selected object move in a steps

to pan the 3d view hold ٍShift then pan with the MMB

I think I can answer 1 and 4:

1. In NLA window, simply select a key, then CTRL+D will duplicate it, the same way as objects in 3D view.

4. Just select several keys with CTRL, then hit G tomove them around. You might want to zoom much to place them precisely...

In general, the philosophy of the program is that the same shortcuts do the same thing in all windows, so usually you can try the shortcuts you know (G=move, R=rotate, etc...) in other window types, and you'll discover many things, that aren't always well documented...

for point 5, middle button rotates and SHIFT+middle button pans, but you can invert that in prefs window if you want...

That would be Shift rather than Ctrl, on both counts.

Also, the IPO Editor window has two modes, Curve Editing and Keyframe Editing. The default mode is Curve Editing. Press the K-key to toggle the Keyframe mode. As stated before, Shift-D will duplicate keyframes. Also, toggling on the button with the padlock icon will allow you to see live updates to any editing done in the IPO Editor, which can be very helpful.
