hi everyone
I used to make it in CS2 and now I can't with CS3
when I want a guide at the middle of the document, I do a select all, grab a guide and PS would snap it to the mid of the selection
now in CS3 this kind of snapping doesn't work, when I grab a selection inside the page it works ok but not when i select all the page. anyone met this before?

bump from the dead.

I have been having the same issues. i cant just "select all" then drag a guide. for that matter i cant just have a layer selected (just the layer highlighted in the layers palette, not the alpha channel of the layer selected) and snap to the edge. i have to ctrl-click first in order to edge snap.

isn't this an issue for anyone else?

Very much so, although I thought it was just me. For some reason guideline snapping doesn't work like it used too at all and it pisses me off sometimes. Especially when I'm making websites for people.

Adobe needs to fix this...

now that they have done away with imageready, is there a way to turn on 'snap to pixel'?

its something that used to be cumbersome (needing to switch to IR just to set guides) but now its worse because it just isnt possible.
