View Full Version : Lightwave Mouse Button Menus
Emauher 04-04-2002, 06:35 PM As we know we use the mouse button menus with the key combination ctrl+shift+alt . Is it possible to assign another key instead the ctrl+shift+alt comba to active these menus ?
thanks ...

I find that 90 percent of the time i model i use about 4 different tools im not sure about the rest of you ! But knowing this i simply assigened the four most common tools to my mouse buttons (5 button mouse ) the tools i have assigned are drag smooth shift bandsaw i find it alot faster than scrolling to find the drag button everytime i need it just a tip maybe you might consider it depends on your workflow
If you would like to do this your mouse software should have the option to assigna keystroke to you mouse buttons just set it up as a hot key and assign your mouse to that hot key

"I find that 90 percent of the time i model i use about 4 different tools im not sure about the rest of you !"- well cerreto i find the same, but i dont have a 5 botton mouse, so here the my solution:
F1- skelegon tree;
F2 -default center;
F3- bandsaw;
F4- extender;
F5- add points:
F6- add ages(really good plug in):
and F11- Vertex paint :)
For the rest tools i pretty happy with default keys (why u skroling to find the drug tool? simple ctr+t)
Yor demon is really great! But why u going on dark texture?
