Thanks Geoff and the ILM Modeling team for keeping to raise the bar and opening creative doors, I wouldn't have dared to enter otherwise. Great read and cool to see some uncomped renders in the article!

Thanks for sharing that....especially the bit on the facial expressions and your overall experience and approach during that process. As an animator, I really appreciate the specificity of your summary...It's alway great to see when talented folk really explore the detail and nuances of not only the structural content of a character/creature but also consider the challenge in the context of an actor's performance. The end product is simply amazing...
Amazing always pushing to new levels, Nice read, Thanks for the inspiring stuff

I think the Davey Jones Appreciation thread is going to get longer....lol. Great article and also great movie. Davey Jones should be in the hall of fame as the best CG character ever created.....Kudos to ILM for raising the visual bar.

Thanks for the article.
To ILM and Geoff - thanks for sharing the experiences.
Cheers,
is a super nice guy...
he did so much since T2, and I'm happy he gets a bit of glory now...he really deserves it...
his modeling portfolio (the article doesn't say everything he did) is surely the most impressive in the CG history...
congrats !!!
Thanks for the very inspirational read, its getting the old creative juices going.... just a perfect start to an otherwise boring morning.
Great article, it's amazing they pulled off that important vfx part with such a small team!!

Since I adore the visual effect quality of the movie Terminator 2, It's really exciting for me to read an interview of Geoff Campbell.
