its a jaunty fun walk.
when i first watched it i felt it was a puppy, past the clumsy part buyt still too younf to be a grown up dog.

then i sat tht it is named lion. i think the head shape threw me off.
on the other hand i was going to say that the tail is nice and lively but it seems more cat like than dog like, which i guess it should be.

the upper leg and the rib cage intersect. this is actually a bigger deel than you might think.
the scapula shouyld be rolling over the rib cage, this rotationn gives lions alot of their characteristic shoulder/upper back movement. check out this skeleton to see how high the scapula should be.

experiment with foot timing they seem a bit mechanincal. maybe some ease in/out on the back hips would help that.

good work so far.

Step 1: Render out like ten seconds of the loop, even if its just a loop it will be easier on the eyes.

Step 2: Make more. Try getting him to do like a dozen things, run a course like Best of Show.

Good loop though. Very symmetrical.

The rig is very poor. I'll attempt to stop the scapula intersection with it. I'm planning on doing other things after this with the dog rig for practice. Maybe a run, a sniff around and a stand to sit. I'll try to start with a non-cycling walk next. (thus make this one better).
