Hello Everyone. I'm posting here as a part of a class project. The idea is to have a 3D interior with an animated fly through.

I'm trying to create a realistic Haunted Edwardian Era Public House. I will add to this thread at least weekly, but probably more and will post from the first initial sketches to the final piece.
I, of course, welcome all advice and comments along the way.
The modeling, texturing, lighting, and mood are all important features of the project.

The first image is an initial thumbnail. There's still a lot of period research to do, so it's not entirely accurate, but I was going for a general feeling and mood for the piece.
The second has some sketches of Edwardian era light fixtures. I haven't chosen the final fixtures yet, and it would be nice to hear which might work best with the mood.

Thanks!

First of all, excellent rendering style on your sketches. If you can transfer the mood from that into 3D, you'll have a cool scene. The trick, perhaps, will be to achieve that dark, heavy feeling while still showing texture. Good stuff so far!
