definitely a good start.

some things that stand out to me:
the boots could use some more detail, and the one on the left side of the image doesn't really seem to be set on anything...

the floor/walls seem a bit... plain. i mean that each part is a solid color (gold, silver). they could use some more texture, bump, etc.

this could be a personal preferance, but the glowing lights bother me... they're too saturated, or maybe it's just that there's too many colors of them for me... i'd stick w. just one color, and add in a few small bits of differently colored lights here and there.

i'd probably add some more detail to the hair, too.

you're definitely headed in the right direction. keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback. I know about the situation with the left boot and I'll be fixing that soon enough, plus I intend to add more wrinkles to them as well.

The hair of course will be more detailed in the final image, what's there now is more or less serving as a place-holder for the later hair.

I'll see what I can do about the detail on the walls and the lights.
