View Full Version : Facial animation through a pipeline?

Hey guys, I am having a little trouble understanding how to push a fully riged organic character through a pipeline.

From my understanding so far, the basic flow goes from baking up the animation (from an animation rig) onto the joints, then importing that animation onto the joints of a high res rig (assuming this is in a seperate file). I do not understand though, how you would transfer a blendshape based racial rig to the high res scene file, as the animation cannot be baked onto joints?

Could anyone clear this up for me please? its giving me a headache!
