Hello,

I'm fairly new to Maya and have been trying to connect the 'intensity' of several lights together to animate the lights flickering in unison. I can't find the 'intensity' attribute in the connection editor.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks - I appreciate any help.

Make sure it is the lightShape node you are loading in the connection editor (select it in the hypershade; if you selected the light in the viewport you will get the transform node instead).

You may also want to look at the lightGirl script on highend3d.

Thanks DJX,

Alternatively, I found I could use set driven keys, although it takes many more steps than connecting through the connection editor. I knew it must be possible to connect through the connection editor. I will also check out the lightgirl script.
