Please let me know what you think. I'll be running an animtation test once I finialize the corona glow. Right now I don't know if the glow is too much, too little? A reference picture is here. (http://rendermonitor.no-ip.com/reference.jpg)

I m going to give my opinion, your sun is little wid, it looks more a gold ball or somthing like that than the sun, you should make it less yellow ( look for ref on nasa site ). May be by adding some gas and flames around it should help to make it more real.

Hopes it will help you

here are some ref for your help :

an update. For some reason I don't think this is an improvement. I'm trying to integrate the volumetrics and color passes.

Another 30 minutes of tweaking (20 being render time...)

Improvement? Or did I make it worse?

I think it is about done:

Anybody have any other suggestions for improvement? (other than flares...will be working on that (maby) later)

More tweaks. I fixed the smoke-like appearence of the corona. It looked interesting from far away but looked really bad from close up.
