Need some CnC... This is a quick test-render of a commerciall for a TV that projects holographic images with the help of a couple of senders, its an assignment for a final project in a class..
And its for an animation

looks good.

but I have to say I think the colors and lighting are a bit washed out. and maybe find a way to define the carpet a llittle better. also if your using HDRI the reflection on the senders seems a bit extreme.

but nice pic.

nice pic...sounds like an interesting project. very ikea!

i think the shadows are all over the place. i feel and i'm not sure if this would technically be correct..but i would like to see the results of light from the head...eg on the carpet...the light rays from the holographic emitter etc. at the moment seems to glow a little though. (its just not clear to the view where the head comes from...eg the side speaker things or above the tv)
i like the fact you tried to kill the quality of the head image...a kinda snowy picture feel to it. also maybe some ornaments on the side cabinet to just break it up a bit...it just to uniform...maybe different camera angle. these are of course imho and you can totally ignore them...other than that for a mock up test image looks pretty cool to me...

ps. chair looks floaty...or as if it has someone sitting in it. maybe add a book sitting on the chair...raise the lamps angle or move it slightly so ya could sit in chair.

keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Thanks for the relies guys..
I cant bellive that evryone notice the furnitures as IKEA... Going mad over that fact... Yes indeed the chair looks flooty for some reason.
The camera is moving around the room, supposed to be a TV-commercial, so the it will be clear that the hologram is comming from the emitters..

One big problem that I have is the render time. 1h 20min for this pic, and this segment of the commercial contains 120frames.
(Current settings: Rendered w/ GI standard settings, Kitchen_probe.hdr as HDRI image.)

Cheers

lets see if you render all night thats 12 hours so you could have this done in 12 days of rendering.

annoying but possible.

unless you arent allowed to render at night.

Nice start. I think it would help ground things if you had a dominant light source casting more defined shadows.
