View Full Version : Low Poly Dragon
Digital Magi 03-17-2003, 10:20 PM This was originally 1200 polygons (triangulated), but I added some more faceswhile in quads to make the UV mapping easier. Not that the model needed them otherwise.
Still some issues matching up the UV patches seamlessly.

here's the cover up I'm trying. The Uv patches for the back and the shoulders are separated, and in different shape, so matching us is hard. Any suggestions?

  looks good so far...only thing i see is that the fangs look a bit clunky..but that could just be me...what kind of armor texture are you going to use? are you going to make a character to ride that dragon?

The idea is that he uses the tusks to crack open skulls like pistashios, not slash through flesh. The rider will be my polychick with added clothes and hat.

I understand about those fangs...looking at your concept drawings, the only thing that i wish translated better is in the chest's scales...in your drawings they aremore defined as coming out...could you darken or enhance the contrast in your textures to give more of that idea in the actual model?
