What's wrong with my poly ? I actually have no idea how to fix this because I can't find any errors in my model. I guess the problem has to do with the material settings, maybe ?
The model's material is supposed to be a glass material (that's the best I can do  ).
Raytrace:
Complete transparency
Specular level: 100
Glossiness: 120
A little bit of reflection
An environment map (sky)

Max 5

hmm, now when I think again, it should actually have something to do with the model itself, not the material :P

hope this helps :p

The glass refraction is strong enough to reflect the skymap I guess. This phenomens actually take place in real life aswell.

Try moving the glas slightly up so it's not touching the ground, rerender, and lemme know if that does anything.

Hmm, this is wierd. I read your replies, when I ran max to do what gaggle told me to do. But before moving my model a little bit up, I rendered just to check if the wierd problem was still there...it wasn't  . Yesterday I fought with the problem and now it is gone...wierd.

Tnx for the replies anyway ! :bounce:
