Title: Snap!
Name: Roberto Irace
Country: Italy
Software: Illustrator

Hello! I think this is my first real illustration post here! I hope you'll like it!
Snap it's the sound that all the scary things do in the night when they broke something in the forest... and this is rly scaring if you are a lil yellow kitty with your mate, a lil blue doggy!

The yellow kitty is an old char i've drawed a couple of years ago.

Media is Illustrator.

LOL! Excellent work! Nice vector designing! The characters are great. I like the simplified forest and background.

crit:
About the only thing I think needs a little attention are the sound lines coming from the word-balloon. They are erratic and not regular... and they don't look like they were supposed to be erratic. So I would either make them more regular or make them more look like they were meant to be erratic.

KFP :surprisedPerhaps in Italy calling someone a "herratic" (hieratic or heretic) is a common thing? When you start off by addressing me as a “herratic”, then what am I supposed to think about everything you say after that (with all the "!")? I know I make fun of myself with my own name of Frenziedmind. Anyway, I was trying to help. No big deal, it's all good.

I still like your style... I want to see more, it's good stuff.

sry frenzied! my apologize for this mistake. didn't mean to offend you in any ways. for a mistake i've write herratic instead of frenzied... but is herratic a bad word in eng? can't found on the dictionary. i was thinking at erratic and i've write herratic instead of your name.

No in italy the "!" are not common. I use them often when I type... they give me the feeling of a talk instead of a write so I love to think that can be more friendly. Expecially when i'm tryng to talk with someone.

hehe... on another Cg italian forum a lot of peoples hate for me all my "!" :D

and... I wanna see more of your stuff too! :)

for mine... I have to finish some work first... :(

see you around :)

Heretic is not a bad word (in English) but it's insulting to call someone that. Looks like we miss understood each other. I thought you were mad at me for my comments. Now I understand, you were attempting to use "erratic" or something... sigh... now it's funny. Glad that's all cleared up... heh.

I checked out your blog. More cool stuff there! I need to figure out how to embed my blog into my website...

hi mark, yap... a simple incomprehension, also i liked your crit couse you pointed a thing that i was tryng to avoid. so it was rly appreciated.

for the blog... if you know a little of HTML and CSS is not hard. In the blogspot admin pages there is a place whre you can take the html template code of your actuale page, copy and paste into another selfmade page... al little work to adjust all the things and after you take the new code, copy and paste in the same place where you have take the old one... save and the server will refresh your blog with your changes.

if you have a software like dreamweaver is more easy to do than to talk about.

see you around. :)

p.s.
did you received my answer at your PM? It was only a ":)" ...but not sure if it was sent... hehe... :)
