Well, my idea so far is named Z-Man.
Z-Man is a zombie, and nobody but him knows if the name is short for Zombie-Man or if it's just a remnant of his eastern-european accent and is thus simply The Man.
Z-Man is good, and every day he fights evil as well as his own zombie impulses. Z-Man has strong points and weak points. Any but the very toughest of villains have a tendency to drop the contents on their nether regions on the floor when they see him. (Unless it's stopped by their trousers.) On the other hand bits tend to fall off him, it's not easy to give chase to young, lightfooted robbers when one of your legs has broken off at the knee and the other at the hip.
