Hi


I need to Map a model so that the texture is on just one page
I am a bit of a novice when it comes to UVW mapping, all have approx 4 - 5k poly's the mesh is fairly light and the geometry is symmetrical,


I have tried pelt mapping but the organic way it unwraps (cobweb) doesn’t really suit the angular model and gives me trouble when trying to place writing on, can anyone recommend a more efficient way I can do this?


Does anyone know of any good tutorial sites or DVD workshops on the subject?
