Hello, I've been lurking for awhile and now that I'm getting into some beginner projects and tutorials, I figured I'd come post some questions here.

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the animation section, but it seemed to be more heavily based around textures.

What I want to do, is make a texture on a NURBS sphere change at certain keyframes. For example, from frame 1 to 50 I want the NURBS sphere to have "texture1" then at frame 51 I want the NURBS sphere to change its texture to "texture2". How would I go about doing this?

Depends on the software. Easiest way in 3ds Max is to use the IFL format, a text file listing the images. With IFL you can add the number of frames you want each image to appear for, before switching to the next.

I am using Maya, but that's handy to know as well, because I plan on trying out 3DSM when I get the chance, so thank you! :)
