Hi Fabricio,

overall I think you did a great job. The general mood and his body expression is very interesting and noble, but the left arm bothers me. It doesn't feel natural. The elbow is like 90 straight degrees in relation to the body. When I try to reproduce this pose myself, it doesn't feel confortable at all. To improve it, you could try to move/rotate the elbow towards his back and the hand forward. That should make the pose look more natural imo. You could improve the composition by using the spear inclination. Right now it's not completely straight neither has a more defined inclination to help. As I said, moving the elbow back and the hand forward, will naturally ask you to add some more inclination to the spear and this way improve the general pose.
The hand with the shield looks great. It shows some cool tension.

My two cents.

My favorite aspect of this piece is the rendering/lighting. What a stunning sight. The character portrays Don Quixote very well. I especially appreciate the scrawny arms coupled with oversized, dangling elbow guards. Great work.

Hey Fab, my congrats for this piece and your award, very glad for you mate. But a little correction... in the Cervantes languaje (the spanish writer) is Don Quijote, Dox Quixote is in Galicia only.

Thank you for your correction.
When i started this work i was wondering how to spell it right. I have search and saw some diferent ways to write it. In spanish was "Don Quijote" like you said. A translation of the Novel here in Brazil was "Don Quixote", but some people write it "Dom Quixote".
I know the original is spanish, but i tried to value my nationality with all respect with the original.
I just hope that the spanish people and fans of this character don't get angry with me.

So when I looked at this I saw total perfection and felt the need to scrub through this board to see if anyone could possibly find anything wrong with it. It was refreshing that Kris spotted something worth noting and I learned a little from that. Wow... The shoulder protector need more mesh segments? Good one man... :thumbsup:

In fact I also believe that the wheat could be better! There is one small branch, right behing the windmill, that uh... hum... I don´t know... it´s weird. It doesn´t seems like the wind is affecting it like it affects the others. Change this and the shoulder protection and you nail it! :)

Hi, very nice work, the light and details are very good...but...I'm from Spain and you need some documentation for the wind mill ....that one looks like someone from Holland..and not from La Mancha..It must be round and white, and built with bricks not with wood...
