Reflection Perpendicular to View and Reflection Facing View are wrong way around.

Yes they are. Its easy to fix though.
Copy AEmia_materialTemplate.mel from D:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya8.5\scripts\AETemplates to your own scripts folder and then open it in a text editor.
You need to swap the BDRF label names between lines 274 and 276
from this
editorTemplate -label (uiRes("m_AEmia_materialTemplate.kReflPerpendiculartoView"))
-addControl "brdf_0_degree_refl";
editorTemplate -label (uiRes("m_AEmia_materialTemplate.kReflFacingView"))
-addControl "brdf_90_degree_refl";

to this
editorTemplate -label (uiRes("m_AEmia_materialTemplate.kReflFacingView"))
-addControl "brdf_0_degree_refl";
editorTemplate -label (uiRes("m_AEmia_materialTemplate.kReflPerpendiculartoView"))
-addControl "brdf_90_degree_refl";
