Title: Vader and Luke on Dagobah
Name: Brian Hagan
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop
This is part of a Star Wars remix personal project I've had ongoing... a fun exercise. This is a different take on the scene where Luke confronts Vader in the tree on Dagobah. The age difference is substancially different and so is the relationship...a bit...was think a bit more of Peter and the Wolf.

Probably, but it's been alot of fun. It really makes you appreciate the brillance of the original design when you try to break free of it and redo it...it's not that easy...a good exercise though to challenge what you think of when you sit down to concept something. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

That's wild Brian. Nice concept. I also dig the sabres in sword silouette's...

Very cool direction. My crit would be that in both cases it doesn't look like they are really holding their sabres (looks like it's behind their hands).

Nicely painted, good lighting but the hands and swords/light sabers dont match up. Vaders sword is too far back almost in his wrist not the palm of his hand and Lukes right hand is too far to the left, the handle of his saber would be going thru it. Still, nice lighting and design.

wow this is great! nice work on the reflectivity on vader. only critique is that vader looks like he's clenching a fist rather than holding a saber in it. Great reimagining!

Thanks for the crits. I have a few more in this series coming up...I'll definitely take all of this in and try to work it in. Painting a lightsaber duel is alot of fun. Again, thanks for the crits...always good to get someone else take after staring at something too long.
