This nasty little bug lives in the malariainfested suburbs on Haiti. It feeds on live cowflesh and leave some nasty, long narrow cuts in the flesh that make the cow look like its been slit open with thick razors.
Some of the locals claim it is the product of voodoo and that if you kill it it comes back for you in your dreams, but thats probably not true, right?

Maybe 5 hours or so in the making.

an insane bug on LSD..that's what i think. poor cows. you did a fine job of creating the madness :eek:

I like the way you paint this creature.:thumbsup: Only on thing a bit strange: your sign. It could be less saturate.

He, he, Big thanx you guys! Glad to hear you like it.
Kbarts, you might be right about that signature. Anyhow, cant be bothered to fix that now.
I went a bit crazy on the brushstrokes and coloring, but I think it still came out quite well.

Im a big fan of Japanese traditional prints and the brushwork and colors involved, Dont know if I captured any of that, but maybe... thanx again. ;)

Lol thats kinda funny. Its like a poem about a psycho bug. Nice textures! The only thing is that Im not so sure about is the composition and cropping. I guess its okay since its just sort of a profile shot of the creature... Nice work though

Xenias, Nothing wrong with your english dude, I like it! yeah, I was expirimenting with just ading al kinds of color without thinking too much about it. ;)

good on you for sticking that loose style Ikuru - makes me realise I dont try enough new things...
maybe the background doesnt wholly fit the beast

bold style, bold colours - impressive!

Oh and cool signature! maybe keep it to the colour scheme itll work well!
