I started a project in r9.6 working with an xpresso solution.
It later got changed to a 10.1 project and the transition didn't
hurt the solution.
Yesterday when I opened the file, the particles wouldn't behave as expected, so I fixed the problem in xpresso, turns out a few things got re-wired weirdly. Odd?
The major problem and difference lies in the Main render window vs Editor rendering. The results in the editor are what I want, the results in the render window are not as expected - ie completely DAMN different.
Nothing in the settings indicates this changes - no renderer vs editor differences, I've checked it over and over. It worked before so I don't understand why it doesn't work now.
To top of this nonsense, I even tried to bring in the original 9.6 solution,
which works once again on first try, but save and re-open and the same problem occurs.
I guess my questions is - Have you experienced anything like this???
