MarciahL 05-30-2007, 11:06 PM Hi all. Im going to model Aayla Secura. I have already started, I made an easy model in maya, posing it with a simpel rigg.
Then Taking it to zbrush for sculpting clothes textures, etc etc.

did some posing and test sculpting last night. didnt go as planned, stupid me, didnt think of the "hair" going down towards here back. Created a lot of problems with zbrush masking.
Im going to repose a little today and start sculpting again.

ALways liked the twilleks. Pretty cool even though they are blue / red / yellow and have tails on their heads:D
The sculpting looks brilliant and makes me want to take the time and learn how to do characters. keep up the great work.

Pretty cool, quickly done too.The way she is holding the lightsabre looks a bit awkward at the moment and I think the left hand looks too long if you compare it to the reference picture. Her eyes are her strong feature so they should be a little larger also the chin needs to be less pointy and quite rounded. Aayla is quite curvey and valumptous for a female jedi knight so you should probably try to soften her out a little bit, she looks too lean and sharp at the moment.
Heres a link to a pic of the actress who played Aayla

in case you dont already have it for ref.
Good stuff tho!
lookin forward to updates.

back again. Made some changes.
Ive twisted the upper body a little moore back to orginal position. It wasnt right to have the body hard twisted like that. Added details to pants. Fixed some on face. Bigger eyes, bigger lips. Thicker face. Also toned down the nipples http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
thanx for all kind words.
cheers http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/images/smilies/smile.gif
