View Full Version : The 'Render Daemon' button .... any use to it?

That button has been there (with the Display buttons) as long as I can remember, but I have yet to figure out how to put is to good use.

The popup text says it is for using a network render machine, and they were some effords on that subject if I recall correctly.

But anyone knows how to use it? Where do one find the settings for it?

I seems to be like the Scroll Lock button on the PC keyboard, it is there but only God knows of a good use for it.

It was indeed intended to do network rendering over intranet.
But i never had an opportunity to make it work.

you'll see some info about the original Nan render daemon and a new one too... though there are some things i d o not understand (like why two projects?)
