View Full Version : Bone driven morphs with Posemixer?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if it's possible to have bone driven morphs applied on a mesh that also has a posemixer tag on it?

For example, i have a characters body that has bone driven morphs on the elbows, so that deformation is kept nice and clean when the elbows bend beyond 90 degrees. However I also have some morph targets (posemixer) on the mesh. With the posemixer tag applied, it overrides the bone driven morphs having any effect on the mesh.

Thanks.

I wont' get into the why are you mixing both systems question, but you can use the morph deformer to have the morph tag morphs applied as deformer instead of an expression, or you can set the morph tag to run after the pose mixer, that may override the posemixer though.

The only real reason to use posemixer instead of morphs for mesh morphing, is when there are several hierarchical objects you want to morph with a single slider. thought even then I'd probably have a user data control the separate morph tags as morphs are so much more optimal.
